Dog ears are common after plastic surgery. They are left over skin at the hips. My PS fixed them while I was awake, but I ended up with a seroma on one side and a hematoma on the other. Now the scar needs fixing, and I will have to have another surgery for that (the original fix was done with just a local).

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Wow, you can type on the treadmill? I can barely read on the treadmill. Glad I am getting people active. That's nice to hear :-)
