RNY  4 Years 11 Months Post Op

Morning

Not much on my agenda today.....a little paperwork......baseball game tonight.....going to try and have a really low calorie day.......

 

STEPS - 9730

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of regular coffee

    Premier protein shake

 

S - Dannon light and fit Greek yogurt

 

L - 2 ham - cheese - pickle roll ups...( 3 slices of ham and 1/2 slice of swiss and one pickle in each roll up)

 

D - Eggbeaters omelet - 1/2 the carton

     1 slice of cheese

 

S - 1 hot dog - no bun

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 750,  Carbs - 31 grams,  Fat - 27 grams,  Protein - 90 grams

 

All water.....3 litres....plus decaf coffee and all vits

Morning Barb and everyone. Tired this morning, just didnt want to get out of bed lol..I weighed myself this morning. 3 times because i now  only have 4 lbs to lose til goal of 140 ...YAY...

B- hard boiled egg and tea..

S- small salad.

L- mixed bean salad. some roast chicken

S- protein bar.

D- chcken and green beans..

S- roasted chickpeas..

Thanks guys, yes it is hard to believe. I am very happy so far...But i am very aware i am early out and the hard part is yet to come... TO keep it off....And i am wondering when i am done losing where my final weight will be. I want to be at a weight where i will be able to maintain and be healthy and happy..I felt great 15 lbs ago, and if i bounce back to 150 lbs i will be fine with that weight. I want to give myself some room .. I am still having a hard time with body image when i look in the mirror. I still see a Fat person. I think i will head back for counseling about it...Nothing wrong with getting help.....Have a great day everyone...Krista..

Good morning all. Just got to work. Took a different streetcar. What an adventure. Got some steps in anyway. Will get more tonight when I walk to TWH. Looking forward to hearing about all the studies they have been doing.

Good morning gals!! 

I am in a bit of a mood today :(  I feel like for every 3 steps forward, I get thrown back 20.... GAH! Dr Nandagopal ordered PICO drains, well... they are not working; I am leaking tooooo much fluid. They are supposed to be changed every 3-7days. I was changing it everyday. CCAC requested that a wound care nurse come in. She just left. She doesn't like PICO dressings and didn't want to use anymore. So, she made a "wick" from a sponge and put it in my wound.  she then covered it with a 4x4 gauze. Right away, I told her this was useless and NOT going to work. She didn't have much to say.

CCAC requested that my nurse call Dr Nan and discuss other vac options, this was done on monday. He sent the order thru to CCAC at my case managers request. She is a very "by the book" person. She wants to see the order from the wound care nurse. As far as I am concerned, the new vac system should have been here for today so it could have been hooked up; the order came from the dr. Now I have a sponge in my wound and some gauze that I can't cover up the way that I was doing my dressing before so my clothes do get yucky with fluid. I am SOOOOOOOOOO very upset and can't stop crying!! 

What in the world am I to do??? 

 

I am having a rebelling kindda food day; I simply don't care today. Not too sure if I should even post my foods...

 

B- Special K protein cereal

L- I will make a tuna sandwich and some tomato soup

D- steak and a couple of homemade fries

That's the good stuff...

I hope everyone has a good day :) (Sorry for my rant! I just don't know what to do or who to talk to) 

BELOW GOAL        Happily maintaining 4.5 years out!!   Life is GREAT!!!  Had my plastic surgery!
