Surgery on March 20th?

Hi, just wondering if anyone out there is having surgery at Ottawa Civic on Thursday (March 20th)? I am heading up tomorrow and will stay at the residence across from the hospital, nice and close. I am so nervous and anxious right now, can't imagine how I will be feeling tomorrow night. Only 4 more Opti shakes to go!!! Yippie.

Congratulations providence, you are almost there - so exciting.   I know you must be freaking out - I am already freaking out sometimes and I am only at the pre-op class stage, so I hear you.  Maybe just try to keep yourself busy until then so you do not have much time to be anxious?  Reading a good book or watching a movie is a great distraction for me, writing out my feelings helps a lot to release that anxiety. Best of luck to you tomorrow and be sure to let us know how you are doing afterwards.

Thanks so much everyone. We are staying at the residence across from the Civic and our room over looks the hospital so I am sitting here perseverating about everything...LOL...at least I will be done with Opti fast! :) Will keep everyone posted and thanks again for the well wishes.
