E-cigarettes/Vapour Cigarettes
I'm wondering if anybody that is/has been a smoker has used the e-cigarettes or vapour cigarettes? I quit smoking 14 months ago, but still get cravings...mostly out of behaviour I'm sure. So, a friend had suggested the vapour cigarette. It contains a very minimal amount of nicotine (6-24mg)...has anybody tried this? I'm scheduled for surgery on May 2... If I occasionally use this method, will it effect my surgery? Just looking for information.
TIA,
Jen

I would not suggest it, because it does have nicotine in it. Even the smallest amount of nicotine can put the old habit back into you. Believe me I know its hard. I quit after 31 years of smoking to have this surgery. Please, you have made it this far, just munch on a carrot when you get a craving. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
Actually you know, you can not buy the nicotine ones in Canada, that I last knew, when I was quitting I used Vapo cigs... they have various flavors Grape was my favorite but it was jus****er vapor that gave the motion of smoking but nothing else. This may be an option.
Good Luck!!
Nicotine affects healing... and you have already quit. I wouldn't do it.
