Absolutely Pat! in the past I just packed away my "fat" clothes, just incase I gained it back. Not this time. I'm going forward with the attitude that this is it...no need for back up clothes cuz my weight ain't going back up. LOL!

Morning Barb! Yes, I do occasionally enter all my food into MFP and then come here and post on my Nexus tablet, but that's really no fun. Typing from my desktop right now...much quicker!

I have lots to do today if I get the gumption to do it. Clean out the spare room (which is basically my office).  Finish tidying up downstairs. Do a bunch of filing.  And it's warm out today, so maybe I'll see if I can go for a bike ride.

Last night was a tough eating night. We invited people over on the spur of the moment when I realized I had enough lasagna to feed the world.  They brought dessert. You know how the rest goes. Well, today's a new day.

16 MONTHS POST-RNY

B - Open faced egg and cheese sandwich on toasted P28 bread

S - 1/2 cup ricotta/vanilla/splenda mix with 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries

L - Leftover homemade Italian sausage and ground beef lasagna (it turned out so great!)

S - 1/2 Quest bar, 1 glass of milk (separated a bit for liquid/solid rule)

D - Leftover homemade African ground nut chicken stew from the freezer

S - Other half of Quest bar

TOTALS: 108g protein, 56g fat, 90 carbs, 26g fiber (wow!), 1250 calories

Have a great day, everyone!

The short ribs in the crock pot turned out better than I thought they would. They were really great. I posted the recipe here.

I somehow missed your line about last night. And I posted about tomorrow is a new day too...funny!

The Quest Bar adds up for your fibre intake, doesn't it?

They really do! It almost feels like cheating, like I should be getting my fibee from real food rather than supplements, but what the heck, I'll take what I can get!
