This article discusses what happens after surgery - how generally people have issues with sagging skin. I had a tummy tuck last summer as I felt unhappy with the left over skin...... just thought you might be interested....
Interesting article, especially the part about people who don't have skin removal surgery are more likely to regain weight and more of it...

Will be 8 years out and have tried for
years to love the skin I am in.
It isn't happening.
Just booked a fleur fleur de lis tummy tuck for
the fall.
Looking forward to getting rid of

I'm not looking forward to the excess skin, as I hated it when I lost so much weight due to Crohn's when I was 20, and looked into surgery then. But I can't help but think I will never be able to afford the surgery, and, that the recovery from it compared to the wls is so much longer and there are so many more incision complications to worry about! Yet I know I will likely want to have it anyway...
I do feel like this is one are where those in the States with private insurance have it better than us. They seem to get skin removal surgery covered pretty easily.
