Surgery times in Ottawa

Good evening,

I was wondering if anyone knows of when surgeries are being booked in Ottawa at the moment.

I have a friend who is meeting the surgeon end of March and was asking if people know how far out the surgeries are being booked

I just met the surgeon in Ottawa yesterday. He told me anywhere from 6-14 weeks after I met him. Now I am waiting for a call with my surgery date. I am guestimating it will likely be 3 months till surgery. Hope that helps

At my last appointment at Ottawa WMC I was told that you can expect to wait of a couple of months after you meet the surgeon until surgery.  Still waiting for my pre-op and meet the surgeon dates - hopefully this month, with any luck.  This has been quite a rollercoaster ride so far.  Wish your friend lots of luck with getting the surgery date.

I met the surgeon on Jan 9th and still have not got a call with my date... I'm expecting May.  I saw another post on here who had met the surgeon Dec 28th and just got a call for late April.....  It's closer to 4 months

Yes, i met with Dr.Yelle on Dec 10 and have my surgery booked for April 28th.

Oh rats, I guess I will be hoping for a miracle....

I met with Dr. Mamazza in Ottawa Jan 9th and my sx date is April 23rd. However I did call a few times to bug because we have a wedding to go to in Yellowknife in May.. I was told that March had a few cancelled sx days and no sx during March break which will bump sx to a later date.

did you talk to lanna? the booking lady to bug? Im still waiting for my date :(
