TCC numbers please!
Good Monday Morning all,
I hope everyone is doing well in this HORRIBLE weather we are having! I have booked a cruise for next month, and I wi**** was today, but i'm happily thinking about sailing away!
My activity really only began Saturday for me, as things didn't go as planned for me after I got the ok from the doc. But now all is good. I bought a bike on Friday, in preparation for my Ironman in July. Which is scary!! THis race seems so big to me. Anyhow, I have it up on a trainer and I was able to get in a spin session yesterday. Ran on Saturday, so getting back to normal for me.
55 km is my total. How did everyone do?
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
45.7 km for Butt Busters!
Referral to Ottawa: Jan/11 Info Session: May/11 Nurse: Feb/12 Dietician/Behavourist/Abdominal Scan: Apr/12 Pre-op Education Class: Feb. 6/13 Meet Surgeon Feb.15/13 Surgery with Dr. Raiche March 12/13!!
The race isn't given to the swift nor the strong, but it's given to the ones who endure it to the end...
Another terrible week for me... not trying to make excuses but I have been exhausted the last couple of weeks and have no motivation. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, follow up on thyroid blood work (first level check since surgery)... if that comes back normal I hope he will check my other levels.
Anywho 44.7km for butt busters.
Michelle
