RNY  4 Years 10 Months Post Op

Morning

Flying home today.....not sure if I will be in a position to post my eats the next few days....so hopefully one of you will begin this thread ....especially if you don't see it posted by 7A.M.

Not sure what I will be eating for lunch.....I always have a protein bar in my bag in case.....hopefully though I can get some type of chicken enroute....actually looking forward to feeling some cold on my face...

 

STEPS - 7800

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of regular coffee

     Premier protein shake

 

S - 1.5 oz leftover beef tenderloin

 

S - 1/2 protein bar

 

S - 1/4 cup of mixed nuts

 

L - chicken and veg....hopefully

 

S - 1/2 protein bar

 

D - 1 slice of pizza

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,163,  Carbs - 93 grams,  Fat - 49 grams,  Protein - 92 grams

 

All water.....vits

Almost 9 months post op

 

Have a safe flight home Barb!

Yesterday I had my gall bladder out, I choose to have the same surgeon that did my RNY ( as per my clinics suggestion). While Dr Jules was in there removing the gall bladder he was going to look around and see if things were still in place. I am thankful that he did as he discovered 2 herneias while he was in there and fixed them all up for me.  I am in more pain with this surgery then I was with RNY, but starting to feel human this morning.

Eats will be light for me today, tummy not feeling up to my regular foods.

B- decafe tea with alittle milk, 1/2 cup Source Yogurt

L-1 cup homemade chicken soup with egg noodles

S-1/2 cup greek yogurt with blueberries

D-1 cup homemade chicken soup with egg noodles

S- 1/2 cup greek yogurt with blueberries.

Glad to hear all went well. awesome he fixed the hernias. They would probably have caused you problems in the future and more surgery

Tanya, I hope you have a speedy recovery.

I have to go to TWH today for a test. I will be meeting up with a couple friends from work to go get a baby shower gift for another friend.

 

B- maybe a bagel 

L- I will see what there is that I like in the cafeteria at twh

D- out with hubby.. not to sure what I will have yet

snacks- banana muffin that I made yesterday, yoguart

all vits and liquids in. Sorry my menu isn't really planned for today.

You will definitely eel the cold on your face this today Barb. Have a safe flight. Good thing is it is sunny just very cold. Off to work shortly. Tonight I have my womens group. We have someone coming in to do zumba with us. I loved it the last time I tried it even though I could not keep up. I really should join a zumba class.

Had fun at the eastend coffee last night. I have not bee to many support meetings lately so nice to catch up with people
