Hi Libra
I am almost over my cold in 9 days.....I sucked on cold-ease lozenges ( other names airborne).....I really think they helped quicken the recovery....just a thought for next time......
...and...72.5 pounds in 5 months is fantastic!!!!.....not surprised when I look at your stats of what you eat most days
Barb have a good time golfing. Hope your back doesn't slow you down. I wouldn't mind this cold I have if it wasn't the third I have had this winter. My niece just posted a picture on facebook from her house in Mexico. It looks so warm. It is hard to remember the week in Cuba I had not long ago.

Man it is cold again brrrrrrr..... I really want the nicer weather to come so I can be outside more. I do get out everyday for a good walk/ hike with the dog bundled in layers but I just want to be able to spend more time outside without getting chilled. I am losing all my insulation!!
I am back concentrating on protein, measuring (slacking due to food boredom and not being hungry) and as of this morning I am 121 lbs down from the start of Opti. I have been challenged to eat non-slider foods and mix up the menu so since I am home tonight I will start to plan out some recipes with Pinterest and the recipe forum on here.
One thing I am reminded each day is that this is an everyday thing.... it isn't a "lose the weight and slack off" kind of thing. Everyday I need to be conscious of how I am feeling, dealing with food, measuring and making right choices. It isn't easy and even at 6 months out this is still not routine.
I have done well so far, but am conscious of my head space and triggers and need to keep myself in check. Reading the posts from the vets on the board I think this is always going to be the case for the most part. Losing the weight doesn't fix the head. So I am working on that :)
I am getting lots of compliments at work and I am not going to lie... it makes me smile. No one knows about the surgery except for my boss and they just see me having better eating habits. I am wearing size 20 pants today and I think I wore a 2x top yesterday.... I was a 28/30 pant and 5x top 6 months ago, so this is a big change.
B- Protein coffee
S- Babybel
L- Last of the Moroccan soup

D - Mushroom caps stuffed with pork, asparagus
