by the way, if you just tell them at the centre that you already got OPTI, do they still push you to buy ?

Just a suggestion but wouldn't be so quick to give it away. I am a year post op and I know we aren't supposed to drink our protein (at least Guelph center discourages it) but I do drink my protein at least once a day. Protein powder is expensive. Save your Opti for later (unless you hated the taste of course). You've already paid for it

I was told we weren't suppose to drink the Optifast post op because it doesn't have enough of the nutrients needed.

how are they different from protein shakes we are allowed post-op ? I don't get it.

I looked them up, they have 22 g of protein per serving and 16 carbs. My protein shake has 54g of the same serving and 2 carbs.
