I went from my regular 1800 to about 1200 in the last month. Dietician told me to go back to 1800 as body would be used to low calories and it might affect rapid loss. What do vets have to say about that ?

I would do what the dietitian says.

The only things I changed before my RNY, was I got rid of most of the junk and pop I was consuming

BELOW GOAL        Happily maintaining 4.5 years out!!   Life is GREAT!!!  Had my plastic surgery!

You might as well enjoy the extra calories now. But I would give up pop for sure

Hi Pat, thanks for reply. I never drank pop, in fact I don't eat any sweets at all, including sugar. Majority of my calories come from protein, as I do low carb as well, due to PCOS. I wanted to do it the "smart way" in my opinion, start losing  now and not gain after, since I would have the surgery. It would be more gradual, easier on the skin, etc. Apparently, my "smart way" is not really smart at all :(
