I had a leak as well and after four transfusions I was good to go and they didn't need to go back in to fix it. Things are fantastic now.
Yes, totally shocked. I had no idea but they can heal. If I kept bleeding they were going back in but luckily it slowed then stopped.

2 weeks after surgery I was not feeling well. Got very tired, did not like how anything tasted. Got very cold with uncontrollable shakes, pain in the left back and shoulder. When I got to the hospital, through CT, they found a small leak and absess in spleen. I am getting abcess drained and fed through tube, I also had to have blood transfusion and antibiotic and low potazium. Now all the blood work is good, I will have arepeat CT next week to see how everything wirked out,
