Still looking for a support group
I'm a little disappointed in the resources HRRH has supplied. I emailed a few people on their support group list that I could realistically get to, and NONE of them are still viable.
I've tried to reach out to a few groups on here with no response.
I REALLY need to find a support group. I will travel to Milton, Burlington, Brampton... Mississauga (depending on where).
I thought I saw a group that met in Burlington on Saturday mornings.
Can someone please help me find a group to join?

I can't help you but I feel the same way. I live in Mississauga and am in need of a support group also! Can anyone help?

Assessment: January 18, 2013; Met with surgeon: March 8, 2013; Pre-Op scheduled: June 20,2013; Surgery scheduled: July 17, 2013! Surgery Completed!

There is a great group that meets one saturday a month in north Burlington near Walkers Line and Dundas. I think the next one will be around Feb 22nd and there is usually a message/reminder sent out about a week before.
