Toronto East Enders PLEASE RESPOND - what do you think of Wednesdays instead for Coffee...

Hey Toronto East Ender Coffee folks!

First of all, an apology - I have had family crises for the past couple of weeks, so I forgot to post the last East Enders coffee night on OH.  And I haven't posted the ones for February because I am wondering what you would think of a day of the week change.

We normally have them the second Tuesday and 4th Monday of the month because when we first started the group, one person couldn't make it on Mondays and someone else couldn't make it on Tuesdays. But I think for the most part those folks don't come anymore.  And we know that Wednesdays aren't too bad, because on alternating weeks people attend TWH support group on Wednesday nights.

So here's what I'm proposing:

Let's change the Toronto East Enders group to the second and fourth Wednesday of the month - that way we will never get it mixed up with the TWH night if the second Monday happens to fall in the same week as the third Wednesday, that sort of thing. 

Would everyone be okay with this?  Can you respond below and let me know?

Wednesday would be fine for me. Whatever others would like. I only have a problem with Thursdays if it comes up

Unless I see any objections in the next couple of days, I'll set the February dates to Wednesdays.

I'm in the east end - Durham Region - and have a couple of questions, if I may,

Is this out in the Durham Region?

Is this for post and pre-op peeps?

Do you meet at a regular time? or does it vary meet - to meet?

I'd be interested, nervous, but interested.

Hi there!  You're more than welcome to join us, but unfortunately we're not in the area you're thinking.  We're actually in downtown Toronto, but the east side of it.  We meet on the Danforth at Carlaw, at The Friendly Greek every other week.

I think there actually might be a Durham region group, but I don't have the details handy. Perhaps do a search on OH?  I'm not positive about that, though - maybe someone has some info.

Spoke with Annette today she said Wednesday good for her.

Great, thanks for your responses, folks.  I'll post it today since I've heard from a number of you and no objections so far. I'll send something off to the folks I have email addresses for as well.  February's dates will be the 12th and the 26th in that case.
