Opti while on the road

Hello everyone,

I'll be starting Opti in mid-April.  I just found out, for the first couple of weeks, I'll be on the road for most of the day. I'll be able to have the "breakfast" shake at home, at 5am, but I won't be able to blend up another one for 7 hours. I think this might be too long in between. Will a blended Opti last for 3-4, or 5 hours in a cooler with icepacks?

Thank you.

Get yourself a gravy shaker... I am on week #2 of my opti and constantly on the go with work... You don't need a blender... this works just fine! All you need to do is make sure you have cold water.

Thank you for the reply.

A shaker cup is an idea, however, I'm going on the assumption that I won't have anything - no water. There will be a time when I stop, but I was hoping to at least see if I can add the flavoring at home and have the shake in a cooler.

Water is portable... bring bottles of water with you.

I pre-made mine and stored it in a thermos. It was fine. Not as good without all the ice.

I premade mine and ket them in a shaker cup. I then took some empty water bottles and froze about an inch of water in them and brought them with me so I could re-chill the opti before I drank it. 7 hours would be way to long. I drank one every 3-4 hours

I did an overnight lastnight with a client, I made my shake up at around 6:15 with ice in my ninja master and put it in a thermos, I drank it at around midnight and there was still quite a bit of ice left in it.

Hope this helps :-)

Thanks for the replies everyone.

I'll give both options a try - pre-mix at home with flavouring and store in a thermos/cooler with icepacks or bring water along and a shaker cup.

Thanks.

i cheated lol, I had a mini blender, with a plug adapter for in my car, that way I could still blend while I was working away from the office, but I also have a shaker cup, but holy, I use that little ac adapter for every thing now from charging my laptop on the road, to my cell, its a neat little device

I just brought a shaker cup with me and stopped at Tim Hortons and bought a bottle of water and asked for a cup of ice.

I assume you will take potty breaks.
