Getting my hair cut and highlighted this morning......then home to rest......meeting some friends for a drink....home this evening.....really watching my eating, and its paying off

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

S - 1/2 pure protein bar
L - ham-cheese-pickle roll up
S - Dannon 80 calorie greek yogurt
S - glass of red wine
D - bunless hamburger with all the fixin's
1 cup of kale salad

This is really about caring for one self. Taking the time to do the things (buy/preparing meals) in order to have a healthy survival.
So hard when you have a stall and so much easier when you're losing. This will be my new mantra during my next stall....
Picking my son up at the bus station today in Kingston. He is away studying Engineering at Carleton (Ottawa). He is a good kid and I miss him. It will be nice to give him a hug.

Up since 3....on new sleep medication. Grr!! It's a rest day, but I will be out and about walking, delivering brochures for our upcoming event, so I will reach my FitBit goal.
I have a Winterlicious lunch, and have planned on eating dessert all week :-) I won't eat the whole thing, but i've added it in as if I have. (newbies look away! lol)

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
RNY, 15 Months Post-Op
Good morning, everyone!
It's been too long since I've been on here. Work has really been stressful lately, plus my husband has been travelling for work a lot! Still not an excuse, I need to keep doing this for my own accountability! The good news is I have lost 3 lbs of my regain over the last few weeks (need to get back on my other computer to update my signature - down to 175 now!). It's definitely a constant struggle once you get past the 1 year mark. I'd like to get back to my goal of 165 (10 more lbs down) - I was 5 lbs lower than that at one point but I don't think that's something I can maintain.
I'm not feeling great today, so only did 5KM on the treadmill at the gym this morning, and then another 5KM on the bike. I hope I'm feeling good enough to get back to doing 10KM on Sunday!
Here's my eating plan for the day:
B - 1/2 a paleo bagel, 1/2 tbsp. almond butter
S - Premier Protein shake blended with ice and banana
L - Salmon on a salad with peppers and balsalmic vinagrette
S - Turkey Pepperettes, Larabar
D - Out to Wild Wing with the family - they have pulled pork tacos which look nice (I'll just skip the shell).
S - 1 cup of grapes, 15 almonds
Totals - 1,504 calories, 132g carbs, 69g fat, 105g protein

Hey Barb, good for you on losing a few of those stubborn pounds! That's really great. I haven't been on most of the week because of a family crisis (yes, the saga is ongoing, sigh), so I caught up on a few old threads and saw that you have a fracture. Hope you're healing well. I also noticed that yesterday you gave Verity a shout-out - has she been back? I've been wondering about her for months! Hope she's doing well too.
No menu plan today - I kind of lost it, although I've been making somewhat okay choices so far. Starting fresh tomorrow, but going to be careful the rest of the day today too. Have a good weekend!
