Morning,

I also want to wave at Verity!! Hope all is well!!

Almost 3  years post RNY - Spinning today and lots of walking with work

B: Queen Street grape skin and white bean flour bread (only 30 a slice, low carb...it's crazy numbers, but only bread that doesn't make me bloat) and light peanut butter,

S: goat yogurt (crazy protein...27 gr for 3/4 cup. Crosswind Farms, outside of Peterborough. I can only find it in my grocery store downtown) with nsa source yogurt

L: tuna salad (literally, 1/2 can of tuna mixed with hellman's mayo)

S: turkey jerky (I will have eaten the bag by the end of the day....most of it in the car...my  new car snack)

D: unsure

My totals are low without dinner (dinner might end up being a protein shake, as I have a doctor's appointment after work, and I didn't get my shake in this morning)

Totals Calories: 618 Carbs: 33 Fat: 21 Protein: 87 Fibre: 7 Sugar: 18

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

RNY - 5 Months post op

So I was 5 months post op yesterday and I am down 110 lbs. This is great but there is still a long way to go. Eye on the prize, thinking long term.

I went to see a new rescue dog on Friday and was accepted as his new human by the foster people so I get my new pooch tomorrow :) I am super excited as I lost my dog over a year and a half ago and am finally ready for a new pooch.

Honestly I was less active without the dog and now I have a new running partner to train with. Did I say I was super excited already!!

I was dog sitting this week for a friend and was eager to get in some more time outdoors but the cold was brutal and the dog wouldn't move 25 feet from the door. they looked at me with that "WTF, I am not going out in this" look.

I made beet chips this week... uber good I am going to make more this weekend along with roasted chickpeas.

B- Fibre 1, milk, banana protein powder

S- Edamame

L- turkey, green onion, cherry tomato, cheese concoction

S - protein bar

D- steak tostada ensemeble ... whatever looks good in the fridge

S - going to make roasted chickpeas
