Got my green stickers today for go ahead, now what?

Today i got the green stickers from guelph clinic.  Now they said i have to go to a class.  how long does this take to hear when the classes are? also  when will i hear about surgery?

Well I got the green light from the RN,RD,SW on Dec 4th and I am still waiting for my post op diet class  which they said is the next step.  I still have not had any official word when that will be.  I did call about a week ago and they said that I am on the list for  March 10 but that could change they said so they still have to call to give the official date.  Then it's up to 6 weeks after that to see the surgeon get your surgery date and buy your opti fast.  The surgery date will be about 2 weeks after meeting him/her.   These are just what they said it might be could take longer or sooner just depends.  so I think I would be looking for myself  it will be late April or May or longer for my surgery.  Hope this helps a bit.  I have heard there is now 4 surgeons at Guelph so that might speed things up. 

Hey there! I'm also going through Guelph. I was given the green light on August 19, 2013 and had my post-op nutrition class on December 30, 2013. I have my surgeon's appointment on February 10, 2014. Hope that helps!

Congratulations on being cleared. I was cleared Aug 28th and having my surgery next week. Unfortuantly we all have to wait our turns, plus sometimes there may be more critical who will go a head of us. But your time will come... just continue to practice the good eating habits, and continue to research and ask questions. Good Luck

I got put on the list yesterday to see a surgeon in Guelph! The nutritionist told me that I would probably be waiting about 6-8 months to see the surgeon. I'm ok with that - it's a big lifestyle change, I need to make sure I can be ready for it!
