Thank you for the before and after photo's

I am on my second day of opti fast , I have heard the first few days are the hardest.  I just wanted to say thank you to every one that has shared their before and after photos , when I get nervous  about surgery I look at those and it gives me the boost I need to keep going .  They are such an inspiration  I am set to have my surgery in Ottawa on Feb 13,2014

Would you be able to share your timeline? I'm going through OWMC currently and find it helpful to see others timelines to try and figure out my approx date. I know it varies per person, but if you're comfortable sharing, it'd help. Thanks!

I was referred in June 2012 , I attended an info session in Kingston I think   it was spring of 2013, that just gave out the general info and to see if I was interested in going forward,it was a class like setting and information session. I saw the social worker and dietitian in June 2013 and again in September 2013 , I also had to go for a sleep study  and an scope (I am not sure what it is called but it went down my throat to check out my stomach ) in August 2013 , I also had to have an alter sound done in the summer  to check out my abdominal area , and i had some an alter sound done on my heart in the summer of 2013 , once everything checked out okay , they signed off in Sept  2013 I went to a pre surgery  class in October,r November , met the surgeon  on November 17 or 19 2013 in , they tell you they will call you a month before your surgery  and I started my opti fast 3 days agao , I met with the anesthesiologist on Feb 6 , I go for surgery on Feb 13 .

Thanks for sharing as I too am going through Ottawa, meeting the surgeon on Mar 3.

Just as an addition, my timeline is in my signature. 

Today was my PATTS and after two weeks of Opti (started while on vacation in Florida no less!) I am down 18 lbs. I was shocked when I stepped on the scale!
