Totally frustrated....HELP??
Well, just a quick note for some help? I am 11 months almost post op and down 110 pounds. Feeling awesome! BUT, I would like to see the 170's, currently at 185 down from 295. Huge NSV on weekend. Was able to buy clothes at American Eagle. And to boot a size 12 pair of jeans and a large sweater. and they were even 1/2 price!! Considering last year at this time, I was wearing size 24 pants and 3x-4x tops!
What I am wanting help with is that I am on a mission to work the tool within my window. In the last week I have been working really hard to loose the last few pounds that I would like to loose. Started at the gym with a trainer 2x per week and increased my walking/running to daily with bursts of sprints to try and increase my speed. And even started an aqua fit class one night a week. With all of this, I am following the plan of 1200 calories with at least 100-110gm protein too! Trying to carbs around 20-35%. Also increased my water intake too! Problem is that I have gained 5 pounds in the last week!!! GRRRR!!! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??? PLEASE HELP!!
Getting totally frustrated and thinking is this where my body wants to stop??

Don't forget muscle weighs more than fat! I am pre-op and had my nutritionist appt this morning, and told her I intend to be very active and weight training (which I enjoy and can't do much now at this size) when I am near goal, and she said that should adjust my "goal" weight a bit higher because of the muscle.
And yeah, you are probably not getting enough calories for all that exercise. Ask your nutritionist!

It sounds like you are doing everything you are supposed to. Keep it up and let your body catch up.
If you are increasing your muscle mass your weight might go up in the beginning and then it will go down as you continue to loose fat.
Give it time and keep it up! you are doing everything you need to do and I envy you because I am supposed to do it too but I haven't and I am also struggling with the last 8 lbs.
Sometimes we stop loosing weight on the scale and lose inches as our bodies tighten up. You have already seen the result of that by fitting into size 12 jeans. Keep doing what you are doing and you will start to lose again. Try not to weigh yourself for a while. (this from someone who weighs herself compulsively every day LOL)
