PATTS Today

Yes, 5th floor it is!!  I am just glad at least we can drink water up to 3 hours before surgery, i am having my surgery in the afternoon and was worried about having nothing to drin****il after surgery.

I will see you in the halls!! YYYYAAAAAY

My room at HRRH had no other WLS patients.  We were a complete mix, one had surgery to remove colon cancer, one had a broken leg the required surgery and one had her appendix out.  I spent most of my time walking or sleeping so it didn't really matter who was in my room.

doesn't it feel good to have that over with.  for me it was like one less step, this is really happening

See you Tuesday!!  I will hopefully be going home Wednesday by 9am or so they told me at PATTS.

I am super excited just trying to think what to pack, i don't want any blood or stuff on my pj's so i will probably wear the hospital gowns.  I hope i can have a shower while i am there so i will bring those items for bathing.  I had my gallbladder out when i was 17 and it was open, i was up and walking everywhere the same day, i pray i will recover the same this time.

My opti is going as good as it can at this point.  I don't really feel hungry anymore, but i do find i get cold easy.
