PATTS Today

So today I had my pre admission testing and teaching, it all went very well.  Super long waiting for the Anesthesiologist but worth the wait.  I met a wonderful lady also going for WLS and we were fast friends.  I actually did see lots of people there for WLS but didn't get a chance to say hi since the place was packed.

Last week of Optifast and surgery on Monday.  I have learned so much from this site and wanted to thank you on OH for your valuable information and support.

What does PATTS stand for?  I know it's some kind of tests but I still don't know what all the short forms are.....it's too bad someone couldn't have a pinned spot for those to refer back to when we don't know what the short forms stand for.    Thanks

Who is your surgeon? When were you given your date? 

Thank you!  My Surgeon is Dr. Starr, I was given my date early December

Can't wait!!! I was talking to the lady at PATTS and was asking her if we get to be paired together or are bariatrics put with other surgeries?  She was not sure either, maybe one of the vets that were out of HRRH would know and chime in.  How is your Opti going?

We'll all be on the same floor at least!! 5th.

Opti is going well, I do prefer the chocolate....lol. I was forgetting how many I was having a day, so now I just pull out 4.

I'll be the one wearing a dark blue plush housecoat!!

My surgery is set for 8 AM. I will most likely be wondering the halls before Robyn, so I will look for you!
