Confused
I'm very frustrated by it all. :(
feel like I'm missing a big piece of the puzzle and I'm failing myself so early
I'm just about 6 months out and I get about 1000 calories a day. That is if I am pushing it..usually around 800. I had my surgery at HRRH and they have NEVER told me a calorie intake as of yet. The only thing they said was to try and cut a protein shake out if I could consume more protein (which I still can't)..so i still drink at least one shake a day. I am a pretty slow loser as well Manda, and I exercise all the time. I just try not to compare, eat what I can, exercise and carry on.

I just got back from my appointment - it went well! My surgery was Dec 5/13
I specifically asked the NP about calories and where should I be - I am out of Kingston...
She said 800-1000 calories.
I told her I thought that would be hard. She said she didn't mind as long as I got in 80-100 gms of protein a day.
Hope this helps!
You have to eat less than 1000 calories for sure, do the counting and tracking. Don't worry so much about your protein, drink it in a shake.
You shouldn't be eating any more than 500 - 600 calories a day. Less carbs the better.
Read the "what are you eating today" eat like that. Honeymoon or not, you still have to eat properly as above.
Thanks.
I think 500 cals is a bit low tho no?
Im trying to eat balanced and healthy. Trying to set myself up for a successful eating pattern of the rest of my life.
