For months I was struggling with the simple act of tying up my shoes. Today I pulled my little brown ankle boots out of the closet and brought them to work.

I put them on, threw my leg up on the other knee and tied them without even thinking out what I was doing. It dawned on me later, that I wasn't holding my breath or trying to find some creative way of tying my shoes while still being able to breathe normally!

I'm beginning to love my RNY.

Surgery Scheduled for December 19, 2013. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME!

Congrats!! I always dread trying shoes at the front door when you are visiting a friend. I always take a deep breath and hustle to get them done up before I pass out!! I must admit that's up there on my NSV list :)
