back home, update.....
...After having visited the ER last Thursday for having nausea and vomiting and released, the surgeon told me to meet him at ambulatory care on Monday to see what could be causing it. Sure enough, I was admitted AGAIN for dehydration and low potassium. Next day he did a scope and found two small scratches in my new pouch that were causing all these problems. Said could be a result of something I had eaten the week before. Seems odd because I eat soft foods. Non the less now I start on some new coating medicine. The good news is that the ulcers are healing well and I won't need surgery to fix them. Now hopefully the worst is behind me and I can move on.
Thanks, I was a bit hesitant to go to the hospital as I didn't want to be poked and prodded (which they did like 20x because of dehydration). Glad I did though, so the situation didn't get worse. Happy to be home in my nice bed and nobody waking me up every four hours to do something or another, lol. It should be plain sailing from now on.
Scratches in your pouch eh? Weird. Glad you found out what it was - the not knowing is always so difficult. Hope your scratches heal quickly...

How would one get scratches on their pouch? Rogue staple?
I don't think a chicken bone or egg shell could do damage like that.
