Hi Mandy,

I'm glad someone posted the chart, I don't have it on my home computer.  48 lbs in 2 months is great and a real SV.  Don't worry about this stall, it will pass.  Try not to stress about the stall, or going back to work.  That will affect what your weight loss.  If going back to work is worrying you, perhaps Dr. Hagen can suggest someone that you can talk to that can help you deal with the stress.  You'll find now that old methods may not work any more.

As for the energy levels, it could be stress as well as low iron, and the weather.  I'm guessing you have had blood work recently, so see what you are missing.

Good luck,

Cathy

Thanks Cathy..

i actually haven't had any blood work done since the hospitals.

I thought they take it at the follow up w nurse and dietation. Nope.

I'm gonna make an appointment w my GP and ask him to give me once over. Need a prescription for my allergies. The only thing haven't gotten rid of since surgery.

i do have to take victories is in the no pain meds, no cpap, joint pain improved huge.

Gonna start working out this week, low intensity yoga, Zumba ( at my pace ) and low resistant weights. Gonna talk w doc about it.. Think it will help build my stamina and mood

It will help your mood when you get moving again.  Just keep reminding yourself of all of your victories.  The scale is nothing compared to the real victories.  Things like being able to do something you couldn't before surgery, or even getting into that new size.  It's the non scale victories that really count.

I feel your pain!  I didn't deal with Dr Hagen Re: time off - I had my family doctor deal with it.  I too am supposed to return next Tuesday and I'm also freaking out!  It's too soon and I don't feel like I have it all together to get through a whole day away from my house, my protein, etc.  I guess I'll have to learn, but sheesh!  I also have little energy and i'm very irritable.  Taking ALL the vitamins but I'm still crabby.

What's the "Danforth Meeting" - I'd LOVE a meeting!  I need some support too!

I stalled too and it was really just constipation.  They say to drink 2 litres of water a day, and I usually only get in about 1200 mls, so I'm trying to work on that!

Hang in there!

I dance with the same pounds for weeks, I struggle to eat enough but as dead tired as I am the getting back to work helped and helps with creating a healthy routine which is good for me.  If getting more time off is difficult can you try modified hours?

i have a dear sister that began asking how much was lost all the time and I feel like I'm losing at a slower pace than many so her well intended question was getting hard to deal with I asked her to stop asking and told her I would share when I was ready.  Then she started saying while out together to people we meet shopping doesn't my sister look great......l  Again I had to say please do not say things like that, she means well and is proud but I need her to show it in other ways.  And by the way 48 pounds good job and measure the inches lost as well it helps ease the sting of those stalls....

 Respectfully Jane
