Its good to be home....I like my routines......lots of running around today
STEPS - 7950 - amazing how many steps you can get just by making sure you move during the day.....I was surprised when I looked at my fitbit last night and saw my steps....especially since I was in the car for 3 hours
EATS
B - 2 large mugs of regular coffee
Premier protein shake
L - leftover beef tenderloin - 3 oz
S - 2 oz deli ham
D - good sized piece of trout
small green salad with regular dressing
S - 8 low sodium triscuits
shredded habanero cheese
MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are: Calories - 1,395, Carbs - 61 grams, Fat - 59 grams, Protein - 114 grams

Good morning Barb and Happy New Year! Great to see that some wonderful things never change - you starting the WAYE thread each day. Can't contribute my menu as at a skinny 115 pounds and trying to gain, NO ONE would wanna hear about what I'm trying to shovel in. LOL I'm pretty sure though at almost 8 years post-op, I may have a few tidbits to share.
Glad to be back (or trying anyway) and thrilled to see you.

I was able to finally edit my ticker below - wanted it to reflect my current stats which are not great. Hoping this will help motivate me to stay on track and lose the 13 lbs that I've gained over the last few months! It started when I was on the cruise and my bad eating spiraled from there. I want to be accountable for this and take back control before 13 lbs becomes more!
The good news is I lost 2 lbs over the last couple of days by sticking to plan. If that loss holds over the weekend I'll update my ticker accordingly.
Today I'm going skating with the kids, then might hit the recumbent bike this afternoon. I'll do a long run tomorrow morning.
Here's my eating plan for the day:
B - Greek yogurt with berries and all bran buds, SF syrup, protein bar
S - Pepperettes, cheese
L - Leftover salmon from dinner last night, salad
S - Carrots and Hummus
D - Butter Chicken
S - Jello, Cottage Cheese with some oranges
Totals - 1554 calories, 123g carbs, 67g fat, 123g protein

Thanks, Pat! I've been eating really badly so definitely deserve the gain. There is really nothing that bothers me from a sugar/carb standpoint, which is not a good thing! So it's back to good old fashioned willpower. The good news is that I've kept up with my activity, so hopefully improving my eating will help the pounds drop back off again!
