I've been trying to get through to TWH to ask questions but the line has been busy.  I was reading through my papers and they say I should start my opti on January 17 - well I have to take it for 2 weeks and my operation is scheduled for February 3rd, which means I would be finished the opti on January 30th.  My instructions say to stop taking opti by midnight the night before surgery which would be February 2nd - do you think they made a mistake in my start date?  Is it okay to have all of it drank 3 days before??

If surgery is on the 3rd then you start on the 20th.  You don't want to be done 3 days early because what will you drink? They definitely made a mistake on either the start date or surgery date.  I'd keep calling.

I would think you should start the 20th, to give you exactly 14 days of Opti ending the day before your surgery. My guess is it's a typo. Just a thought - I have seen others need to do 2 days of clear fluids prior to surgery, is it possible they are needing you to do this?
