Happy New Year everyone. I hope we all have a good year of eating

Nice to see the sun today even if it is cold. Not as cold as where Tracy is but very cold for me LOL. Will be going for a walk soon and maybe a movie this afternoon.

Due to the power outage, we missed our traditional family Christmas Eve dinner where we indulge in an assortment of fish dishes. Instead, we decided to celebrate Christmas Eve last night. A great time was had by all!!

Happy New Year!  Today I plan to go on the recumbent bike for 45 minutes, before we head out to my Mother In Law's place for dinner.

Here's my eating plan for the day:

B - Greek yogurt, berries, SF syrup, All bran buds,

S - Protein Bar

L - Back bacon, eggs, pudding with PB

S - Turkey Pepperette, Cheese

D - At my Mother in Law's - we're having Chicken and I'll have some veggies as well

S - Cottage cheese with cinnamon and Splenda, SF Jello

Totals - 1,422 calories, 96g carbs, 52g fat, 152g protein

I got to sleep in today!! WOOT! Just having some breakie then getting ready to go to Niagara Falls to spend the afternoon with my in-laws. We are having our Christmas today.

B- bacon, eggs, few homefries and 2 bites of toast

S- protein shake

L & S- munch of stuff at the in laws

D- not quite sure yet

 vitamins in.... Have a fabulous day!!

Time to get back on track after some treats over the holidays...sure I am not the only one :-).  A few cookies, a little fruitcake, and some chocolate made their way into my diet for a few days there so I need to get back in the zone.  Woke up late so did a brunch thing...

Brunch:  cottage cheese high protein lemon flax pancakes with sf syrup elderberry banana compote

Snack/drink:  Organic peppermint tea, fun cheez shapes (the space ones)

Dinner:  Pork roast, sweet potatoes, possibly turnip and/or asparagus, 1/4 glass wine

Snack:  1 slice Betty light low carb bread dipped in strawberry sf greek yogurt (tastes awesome btw) 

Before bed:  all meds and my vitamins

I really prefer the fun cheez shapes to the cheese sticks.  I find the cheese sticks have a texture that is not my favourite.  The texture of the fun cheez shapes is creamier and softer, which I enjoy.  Plus the shapes are fun. :0)

Lunch – babybel light, Ocean’s snackit (could only eat half the snackit)

S- 2 melba toast with hummus

Dinner  - pork tenderloin, baby carrots

Calories  779  Carbs  41    Fat  29    Protein  82  Sodium  1306  Sugar 10
