Sorry to hear that.  That sucks.  I've been sick all Christmas too. Luckily I'm on the mend. Feel better soon! And I hope your family is feeling better quickly too.

The worst is being sick over the holidays. Your heart and mind want to do all these wonderful things and your body has other plans.

Feel better. enlightened

Morning Barb, it's amazing how just doing stuff around the house can be a real workout. It's snowing again this morning in Picton so I might get out and shovel my father's driveway.  I'm also supposed to go out with my stepmom and hit the sales so that should add a few steps to the day.

Lots of leftovers today, and I'm not going to be at home as much sitting near candy and stuff so hopefully it will be an easier eating day. Yesterday wasn't too bad either.

1 YEAR POST-RNY

B - 1/2 cup light ricotta/vanilla/splenda mix with 1/2 cup raspberries

S - 1 oz cashews with 1 clementine

L - leftover turkey dinner with trimmings (same as yesterday)

S - 1 clementine and 1 cookie

D - more leftover turkey dinner...I know, boring but I could eat it every day of the week and not get tired of it.

S - don't know yet but have room in my totals in case I get tempted by something.

TOTALS: 94g protein, 40g fat, 75 carbs, 11g fiber, 1089 calories

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all!!  Merry Christmas!

Haven't been tracking in a few weeks but if anything I eat less not more when I don't track.

Down 80 lbs now and 27 pounds from goal (150).  Thinking of resetting itto 135 or 140 (blows my mind completely).

I had 2 'episodes' that I am reflecting on of autopilot binging.  One was on birthday cake served Christmas day.  I cut a small slice but ate it too fast, wished I was more mindful and enjoyed.  Then ate the mushy bits on the cake knife.  Then left the kitchen to talk to niece and nephew (proud of that strategy).  Then cut another small slice and ate with fingers on my way through the kitchen to leave (tired at that point and hungry again).  Would have been better to make and save myself another small plate of dinner.

Yesterday, didn't eat enough again and after a nap was hungry and thinking of a slice of dark chocolate orange.  My partner doles them out to me when I ask but I don't know where they are hidden.  I come across a bag of chocolate chip cookies and another of marshmallows (stale) and eat 2 of ea*****uick succession.  Have been somewhat pleased and disappointed that I don't appear to be a dumper.  Not entirely true -  probably because I ate more sweet than I have in a long time and also as I had nothing else in the pouch - I dumped (gas, cramps, nausea for about 90 minutes).

Trying not to be too hard on myself, trying to reflect on the before, during, after.  Worked out yesterday and will go running and ice skating today so calories probably not an issue.  Its the autopilot that's disturbing.

Eats

B: 1/2 slice P28 toast, 1 tbsp P28 almond butter, 1/2 banana

S: 1/2 c greek yogurt, 1/2 c pinapple

L: tuna in olive oil, rice crackers and carrots

D: turkey and vegetable

S: tea and piece of dark chocolate

The mindless eating is one of my major issues. I am getting better at recognizing it and not reacting but it has been a fight. Congrats on all the weight loss. Remember that as you reach goal a couple of treats will not throw us off . I find the guilt the biggest problem because with me it seems to make me eat more.
