Am I the only one who still has spotting after surgery?  It is getting really darn annoying.

Sorry, I'm pre-op, so I can't help much. If you search the regular RNY forum, though, I'm pretty sure I've seen something similar mentioned i.e. heavy or irregular periods, or spotting seem pretty common in the first month or so since apparently there's quite a bit of hormones released from the weight loss, which will certainly mess up your cycle.

^ exactly. Lots of estrogen and whatnot being released from stored fat, which can interfere with your cycle. Talk to your nurse if you're concerned but I was told it's completely normal. Annoying, but normal!

I do still read a lot of posts but don't have as much time to respond. Hoping work/life will slow down after the holidays :) Hope all is well with you, too!

I guess I was one of the lucky few. Hadn't had those problems and have remained regular. What did your doc say and how long it should last?
