Surgery: RNY on 12/18/2013 with Jay M. Snow, MD "Don't mistake my kindness for weakness." - Robert Herjavec, quoting Al Capone
That's Fantastic! It's nice to hear from veterans. I'm just at the beginning of the process, and go back and forth in my mind. Can I really do this? Do I really want to undergo this permanent change? Then another part of me just wants to be where you are - down to 1/2 my size and hopefully not thinking about food all the time! Sometimes I wish the process was quicker, but then I'm glad it's not because I feel that it's important to really be sure about this. I was amazed at some of the people at orientation. I've put so much thought into this and they obviously hadn't. One guy kept talking about how soon after surgery you can eat a hamburger!
Thanks for sharing, it's greatly appreciated!
Thanks for sharing. Sometimes it does feel like it is taking forever! I will keep what you said in mind! Merry Christmas!
