Ok so yesterday's question was about what do I do with the opti-fast and today's question is what can I do with the 2 cups of green vegetables we can have every day. I like all the veggies we are a lot however I don't very often eat them raw. And the are usually steamed and topped with a little butter (broccoli) or fried in butter/oil with onions. So I need some ideas! My sister suggested I use the "allowed" chicken stock and cook the green peppers, celery and broccoli like a soup. But I could always use more ideas on what other ppl found worked for them.

Soup sounds good - once they are cooked you cooked put some or all of them through the blender and add back to the soup, making it thicker and more like a cream soup.

I steamed my broccoli, put some lemon, salt & pepper on and had a cup of broth on the side. It was nice to have a hot "meal" after doing cold shakes all day. I would also make "pickles" with cucumber, vinegar and salt. Nice change from the sweet taste of Opti.

I know this may sound odd but I steamed my broccli and put garlic powder and steak spice on it and pretended it was a steak :)

also made salad some days - we are allowed vinegar and i found it perfecly delicious as a dressing in small amounts
