Weigh Ins During the Pre Op Journey
on 12/15/13 2:09 am - Canada
I am curious to find out what appointments you are weighed at? For example, does the nurse practitioner weigh you at any/all subsequent appointments? If you are having one of the tests such as the endoscopy, are you also weighed then too? And when you meet the surgeon? Also, If your BMI was close to 40 and then after your weeks of OPTI you fell below 40, would this preclude you for surgery?
Thanks,
Trace

I was weighed in at every appointment that I had with my bariatric clinic (if I had more than one appointment on the same day then I was just weighed once for the day, always at the beginning) and then again when I met with my surgeon. I was under the impression that I will be weighed in again at pre op appointment and again on day of surgery.
Hope this helps,
Fay
