Dawn I am so pleased for you.....it really made a big difference for me and how comfortable I was and now am with my body.....glad you are doing the upgrade......Remind me when you get closer to your surgery date and I can share some tips

Good for you Dawn.  Let us know how it go.  I'd be interested in doing that also.  You said upgrade to a Tammy tuck, so would u have to pay the difference?

Yes.  :-) that way the top skin above belly button is also gone and my muscle is put back together.

Congrats on the approval.  For those out there that can't shell out the cost of plastics, the CareCredit card covers this type of expense.  I used it and paid off within 2 years so no interest. Just making sure y'all know that's an option!

Congrats! I'm only two months out, so I'm nowhere near ready to start thinking about the skin surgery. But I will eventually want to get it done. Most of my weight is on my stomach (typical man, I guess) so I'm hoping that most of my weight loss will be there as well. I will need a peniculectomy (sp?) as my stomach hangs way down, so there is 0% chance of my skin "snapping back" like it does on some of the younger folks (I'm 54 and don't suspect that there's much collagen left in my skin these days).

At any rate, congrats on getting approved for your insurance to cover it!
