Amazing changes
Today I am so thankful for my RNY!! I am working out at my crossfit gym 5 days a week and love my new crossfit family!! So warm and friendly and most of all encouraging. I have gone from backsquatting 65lbs to 140lbs in 6 weeks. The other day I did 300 x 25lb kettle bell swings, 150 push ups and 200 sit ups in 30 mins. Amazing. I am encouraged by my crossfit coach to set goals about getting strong and increasing my endurance. It is really unbelievable. I signed up to do a 5k with other RNY folks...well I hadn't run in 2 months. This would normally have set me off and freak me out...well since my fitness had increased so much I was able to do the 5k in minus 5 degress (minus 12 with wind chill) and still did it around the 40 min mark!! I love my RNY and although I still struggle with "head hunger" I am making good choices each day. Each day with my RNY is a gift. All the best to those pre and post op.
I hope to do as well as you!

How wonderful for you. Sounds like you are truly making positive changes in your life at the same time knowing that we continue to struggle with the old issues. Best of Luck.
