Hi val, have you been through orientation?

I am very confused with the order your process is moving lol trying to follow but haven't figured it out. At your orientation they should be telling you all of this stuff- infact at Humber one of the questions the dietician will ask as a pre req to move you along in the program is what food you can have at different phases and where you can find the info.

I recommend picking up the book 'the complete weight-loss surgery guide & diet program' I ordered mine. From amazon for like $10. It really give you a good base knowledge of what you need to know.

oh ok, so you are on a normal time line ok.  Review the orientation booklet - I must have read that thing 15 times by now!

It is really a lot of info to absorb and retain!

They actually give you your surgery date Before you've had any testing or results?  I'm surprised, they sure don't do that here as some of the tests take months to book.

One thing I have enjoyed this week (my first after surgery) is unsweetened apple sauce.

Apple sauce is good for taking crushed pills if you need it too.

You'll be doing a lot of sipping of water, so unless you like plain water, maybe something like crystal light?  You won't be eating much at any setting.  You should have enough there for the first week.

Yup! it makes me feel better to do things like that - I drink my opti from an oversized fancy mug you would get from like coffee culture that always comes with a biscotti - I close my eyes and pretend my opti is a latte
