tmi girly stuff
I have been having an issue for awhile now... I have pcos and it is nothing for me to go 6 months with out a period. I have read that stress from having surgery can bring on a period... My issue is that I have been spotting on and off for over 2 weeks now. It is driving me nuts!
Anyone else have this issue?

Hi Michelle, I have PCOS and every time I go super low carb I have mild bleeding pretty much continually until I up my carbs to a certain point. Really really annoying but I have heard on this forum many people who do not have PCOS have unusual stuff happen with their periods after surgery, so I think it is nothing to worry about. My endo told me that the bleeding was a good sign because it meant my body was releasing fat and hormones - yay! Still sucks though. Call your bariatric centre if you are concerned, maybe they can advise if anything can be done.
I have pros as well I had surgery end of September and for most of October I spotted. I stopped for about two weeks then spotted again. I just started for December, tmi I know sorry, but did t have the spotting this month. I am not sure what point you are at, pre or post surgery, but the hormonal change can mess with things, plus I heard the anesthetic can cause problems with your cycle as well
Thanks guys!!
Nice to know I am not the only one.
