Just wondering....
..how much weight you lost after two weeks from surgery. I've lost 11lbs and I'm a week and 5 days out. I lost 14lbs on two weeks of opti and so far my total weight loss is 57lbs from the time i started this journey. I know it is a god amount of weight to drop in a week and a half but, I somehow think I should have lost a bit more considering I was just drinking broth, jello and water. I'm full liquids now and I know for sure I'm not getting all my food and water in for the day and wondering if this will slow me down.
Also, when you started the regular food phase, what did you eat first? I miss chewing and I'm looking forward to eating regular food again. Fish and couscous it what I think I'll have.

I have lost 10 pounds since the day of surgery, 33 pounds since before Opti, and now I an stuck there for awhile (stall), which is ok with me. You're doing great! =)
I'm at the pureed stage and I'm living off homemade pureed chili for dinner, 4 saltines and a laughing cow cheese wedge for lunch, protein shake for breakfast, and drinking crystal light all day long =)
Tonight I think I will do mashed sweet potato with 2 homemade smallish meatballs that i shall chew to a pulp, lol
Please don't compare. It will make you very happy. I lost exactly what you did.

Almost guaranteed comparing will not make you happy for long. There is almost always someone out there who looses faster, easier, etc etc. And in ten years from now doesn't make a damned bit of difference if we go back to eating like morbidly obese folks we used to be (or are). Sorry for the tone of my post but when the surgery honeymoon is over and you're left with your old eating habits without adequate exercise, you will regain all you have lost and maybe even gain more. Its a tool, and needs to be added to exercise and knowing what you're consuming nutrient wise so when you get to eat all kinds of foods again you make good choices. Honestly and with sincerity, it doesn't matter what you weigh right now. It doesn't matter what I weighed two weeks post op. Stick to the plan and continue to plan to shed the weight, then keep it off. Be kind to yourself, spoil yourself with whatever you like and can afford, be the plan!
these are my weight logs since the beginning :)
