A week and a half out and feel crappy
All the ideas of previous posters for getting in protein and fluids are great.
I would like to suggest that you are sick and trying to recover from both major surgery and infection. Listen to your body - if you need to sleep then sleep. Eating is generally not something the body likes to do when sick because digestion takes a lot of energy. You will be fine with fluids only which will probably help with the headache - broth, jello, flavoured water (can use crystal light/mio in water to make popsicles) - You would probably also benefit from watered down orange juice as your electrolytes/blood sugar might be off.
