Finally Home!
I would really like to thank everyone for their well wishes! Your support has been great and my angel has been great .
I actually got home about 8:30 pm last night. All is going fairly well but I am a bit sore. I have a form of morphine i can take but am trying to just stick to Tylenol...don't want the morphine to upset my stomach as it does for some. Fluids going in well but the broths taste terrible to me...the one in the hospital was fine but the one's at home aren't very appealing. Does anyone know if you have to have broth or will other clear liquids suffice if you are getting enough in? I have been very lucky so far with not vomiting but i do get some pain on swallowing...especially plain water.
I had the greatest nurses and roommates (3 in and out during my stay). Dr. Al Qadhi was great and so was Dr. Jules.
Thank you again everyone...glad to be on the bench at last!

Thank you Sheryl...i was hoping not..lol! The rest of the fluids are going fairly well :)
Thank you for the well wishes. Now I am starting the biggest part of the journey and looking forward to it. It was funny...even though the optifast made me sick i only lost 7 lbs. Hopefully the rest will come off a little easier :) I am having to really follow the measurements when it comes to my fluids because i never feel full.
I just wanted to add a funny little story. I was all hooked up for the surgery and I had to go to the bathroom. The anethetist was great and unhooked everything so i could run down the hall in the surgery dept. to the bathroom...lol. When I got back the surgeon was there...such a patient man Dr. Jules is
