Hi,

I have been using Progressive Harmonized Protein. It says it's the cleanest protein, New Zealand protein (suppose to be the best protein there is) Antibiotic and rBGH free.

It is unflavoured but it does come in vanilla and chocolate as well.It mixes well and I find it doesn't change the texture very much..

I get it at Spartan Nutrition, I have seen it in other health food stores though.

Hmmm, flavourless?  No.  Unflavoured is perhaps what you will find.  Therefore there will be a taste, and/or smell depending on what you are adding it to.  Good luck in finding one you will enjoy.  I prefer the Premier Protein ready-to-drink chocolate shakes from Costco.

I am on my 3rd tub of Allmax Isonatural Unflavoured Whey Isolate Protein Powder.  I purchase mine at Loblaws SuperStore but I am sure you can find it at others.  I mix it in a lot of stuff and it is fine-when you first open it it doesn't smell all that great so don't let that deter you.  Good luck!

The Bulk Barn has a flavorless 90% protein they sell in bulk so you can buy as much or as little as you need. It's 4.87 or something per 100 grams. It works out to about 30 grams of protein per 30 gram serving. They have a chocolate too that's about 25 grams of protein per 30 g roughly.

I went with the IsoNatural from Popeyes. I do not have access to a walmart or Costco as I do not have a car downtown. I think the large container (white) cost me $50.

It's not too bad, I have been adding it to my soup broth.

I am am not sure if anyone else had encountered this, but the second you go into one of these health food stores and you say "bariatric surgery" they go into crazy up sell mode, they tried to sell me one that would have cost me $100!!!! Lol

Hope all it well

Katie

Great point for mentioning the up selling bull**** Katie. I have a Popeyes 5 minutes from me so I will hitch a cab this am and pick up a small. I still can't drive due to pain and abdominal stiffness - never would have thought.

all you simply need to say is that you want a LOw-Carb protein around 22-26 grams/serving...and you want it unflavoured..you never have to explain that you have had any type of weight loss surgery.

prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.

life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!.  Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!
