update on my wound issues

So i decided to just call the clinic about the pain i was having on my incision site. They told me to call my doc just to be sure i didn't have an infection. Luckily my doc had something open just before 5 and i went in. Unfortunately, i do have an infection and i have to take 2 antibiotics, blah for ten days twice a days each. The annoying thing is that I did tell the nurses and docs at guelph that the wound was hurting and they just dismissed it as residual surgery pain. The doc even said my wound was healing well. I surely didn't develop this overnight because the wound is profoundly raised and hot to the touch since the hospital and i only left there yesterday. sigh. Now i have to take these big pills and lord i hate taking medicine.

Yikes - glad you got it checked out though. I hate taking antibiotics too but when the infection goes away hopefully it will be worth it! Can you cut the pills in half or in to quarters? That's the only way I can get anything down now.
