I have noticed that one of the site that has three staple in, is starting to hurt quite a bit. All the other wounds seem to be healing well and are soft around the staples but, this particular wound is a little hard around the area and it's not exactly hot to touch but a little warm and is quite painful. I was hoping to see if it get better buy tomorrow so, i will wait to call the dr till then. Just wondering if this was the norm or anyone had this before. Thanks.

I had surgery on Thursday and yes i knew i had stitches. Mine have to come out in two weeks and the site it's self is a little painful. Still can't sit, stand, walk or turn in bed without grimacing.

It could be infected? I'm not a nurse or in any way capable of diagnosing these things but if it's warm and it feels firm around the incision site I'd say there might be puss underneath that is building. If it's painful I'd go to the doctor, if it's infected you don't want it to get worse!

Yeh i think it runs the risk of being infected and it's pretty painful too. I don't want to take the risk so i think i will call in the dr in the morning and just have it checked out. Better safe than sorry.
