I would LOVE to start training for longer distances, but I don't think it's in the cards right now with my new job, commute, and the 2 little ones activities. :-(  I'm keeping up the 10KM, 3 times per week for now, and sometimes run a bit more than 10KM depending on how much time I have.  I hope that someday I can go for more!

Understandable. As much as it is a huge commitment on your body, it's a huge time commitment as well. I often was getting up at 5 a.m. for my long runs, so it wouldn't interfere with kid's activities on the weekend. And also getting in 10k runs before work wasn't easy. I am not a night runner. With that said, a regular runner (like you) could start with the 16 weeks of training. As much as I say i've been training for a year, the real schedule didn't start July. Maybe if you can ever fit it in, train for a half (which really you should do first, I suppose lol)

True, I may try for the half at some point!  I run for 60-70 mins 3 times a week right now, but might be able to up that in the future.

No, he's a cross of Husky/Sheppard/Border collie. He was just a puppy in that pic. He's huge now....I don't have him anymore :-(

That's pretty freaking awesome. Was trying to get to the Royal Alex for a matinee today, traffic was bonkers because of the run.

Love, love, love the contrasting pics you posted.

The successes of people on this board are truly amazing.

Cheers
