Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Hi Kelly,

Your posts do help. I have to wait quite a while before I am even able to get the phone call to get my meeting with my surgeon. I understand it is a process so reading the things that people are able to do and how good they feel really help and they help to motivate me that it all starts now so get moving!

Glad to hear it. I waited nine months for the initial phone call for the orientation. I know your pain well!

Wow! My PB before I put on all my weight was 60 minutes and I was thrilled with that. Good for you!
