Has anyone frozen the Opti fast to take to work the next day, and eat it either frozen or semi slushy? does it change the effectiveness of the product?

H KerryF., I was wondering the same thing - mixing at work does not appeal and would prefer to avoid that.  I noticed form your sig that you tore your meniscus in May 2012 and I was wondering how that was healing.  I tore mine in April 2012 and have re-injured it several times by walking and standing too much. It took about 16 months to be able to walk without limping and without pain most of the time.  I am hoping the surgery will help with this.

I actually tore it Thanksgiving 2012 and didn't get the surgery until May 2013.  It's slow to heal I would say I'm at 70% better. But the surgeon said there was a lot of arthritis and he scraped most of it and couldn't get all of the cyst out and so I will never have a perfect knee again.  I'm good with it as is much better than before surgery. I'm really hoping weight loss will make it even better too.

I tried freezing a batch of opti to make it more like ice cream or frozen pudding. it worked and I can't see any reason why it would change the compounds in it- we freeze proteins all the time with meat
good luck to you

it took awile and there were bumps on the road but i had my rny performed by dr jules foute nelong at guelph general hospital on september 16, 2013

I read the binder from TWH which has Opti recipes,  in it they have a recipe for "Hot Chocolate Opti" and it says use Hot not boiling water.  but no recipes for frozen, several say serve over ice or mix with ice. but still no frozen recipes. ?????

It says on the package not to make it in advance so not sure about freezing it.  It's good very cold.

If you get a blender bottle ( plastic bottle with metal thing inside) it works good for making the shakes at work.  You can get the blender bottle at health food stores.  I got mine at wegmans in the US.

When I was having a tough time with getting past the smell the nutritionist suggested the cup with a lid or making it a pudding or pudding pop/ ice cream so I'm sure it's okay
