PATTS on Tuesday Aug 20 at HRRH, what should i expect?
Afternoon all,
My PATTS appointment is fast approaching and i wanted to know what I should expect. I was not told I had to fast for any blood work? Sound correct?
Can't wait!

I had mine last week at Toronto East. I did not have to fast. They did blood work, and ECG. I saw the pharmacist, a nurse, a doctor and the anesthetist. They basically just went over my general health and all the meds that I am on. ( I am diabetic) They confirmed everything they had in their file about me. They went over what to expect the day of surgery and that was about it. They didn't even weigh me...go figure. Took about 3 hrs. Maybe 1hr spent actually with someone the rest was waiting. Take a good book. Enjoy!

No need to fast for this blood work and you will probably have a meeting with the pre op nurse and anesthesiologist and maybe ECG ( if not done within 1 month of surgery). You will be there for about 2hours so bring a book or iPad!! Lol
Everyone is really nice an friendly!
I will be in surgery that day so good luck to us both!!

At HRRH it's fairly simple, you get bloodwork done meet the nurse and then the anesthetist. But it could be a long wait so bring a phone charger and a book;) Yay!!! So close now!
