My flabby belly is gone

Surgery was yesterday. Being discharged from hospital later this morning. Pain yesterday was pretty intense, but improving today. My incision must be very low because I get burning pain right at my front thigh joint. TMI guys, I think the worst of my pain was from the mons repair - wasn't expecting that. Kind of strange to not have that hanging flab of ski there. All bandaged up and inBinder, but am walking around soI don't have to wear the squeezy leg things. Don't know what kind of procedure I had, possible fleur de lis, nurses won't tell me anything. Must shut my eyes again now. Thanks everyone for your support. Sorry for the bad spelling, don't have the energy to correct.

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Congrats! I can just imagine how strange it must feel to have the skin gone - and how great it must feel to know it's gone!! Hopefully you have a speedy recovery and the pain continues to improve :)
